The Vision:

Aquatic Behavioral Technologies, Inc. ( A.B.T. ) was formed with a vision of a new, more effective, and environmentally safe future for harvesting aquatic foods. In pursuit of that vision A.B.T has developed new methods, and technology which will dramatically transform how aquatic food sources are harvested.

A.B.T's approach creates an economic and environmentally safe way to increase aquatic food harvest using a new and revolutionary electronic bait system, e-bait", which targets specific underwater species for a more effective catch.

This new way of attracting and harvesting will benefit all stakeholders in the commercial fishing industry - Harvesters, Suppliers, Distributors, Wholesalers, Restaurants, Consumers, and of course, investors in A.B.T. With ongoing research and development we envision A.B.T. to be a major positive and transforming force in the way food is harvested from the open sea worldwide.

The Business:

A.B.T is a "for profit" corporation involved with research, design, manufacturing, sales, and distribution of innovative products for harvesting aquatic food species. The initial product is an electronic communication device designed to specifically attract Spiny Lobster. This new, proven electronic bait is up to 2+ times more effective than any other existing bait or attractant.

First Product: The Lobster Caller™

A.B.T's first product utilizing it's revolutionary patent pending and copyrighted e-bait" technology is the Lobster Caller" which attracts Spiny Lobster.

  • Cost compares favorably to current baits.
  • Reduces labor up to 75%
  • Reduces boat and equipment wear
  • Saves fuel
  • Saves time.
  • It is environmentally friendly, unlike some current baits.
  • Allows the use of fewer traps, which cooperates with the new government mandates.
  • It preserves the fisheries by targeting larger lobster, which have gone through breeding cycles.

The business plan is simple: Manufacture and lease the electronic bait units to lobster fisherman through their existing equipment and bait suppliers. A.B.T. will continue to develop species-specific e-bait systems to deploy worldwide.
